The clock marks 5:30 a.m.
I stretch my arms and legs under my sheets, and very quickly my body is filled like a vessel with this inexplicable energy that makes me get out of my bed, put on my workout clothes and shoes as fast as I can, brush my teeth, and start my routine.
Exercising has been a part of my lifestyle for quite some time now, and no matter how busy life might get, I find time to do it. This is a commitment that I keep with one of the most import persons in my life: myself.
When we caught up in life with all the activities we have put upon ourselves, we can forget about promises we’ve made to ourselves, to take care of our own well-being. We feel down, give a deep sigh, and most of the time don’t even know why we feel this way because we have forgotten our promises.
Finding time to exercise is something that comes from within. This is where you find the fire that motivates you keep going with your goals. My goal has always been to have good health… Yes, I also have some clear goals like measurements, muscle growth and overall tone of my body, but good health has been my mantra. Since I adopted this lifestyle, I have grown to feel energetic, more vibrant, more powerful, more confident, and happy. My mind is focused and I have gotten rid of all the aches. But, the most enjoyable part is a connection with myself I feel when I am exercising. I feel liberated and in a happy mood, and is an appointment that I make sure I attend every morning at 5:30 a.m
